Mirror Lake,
Government Camp, Oregon
Mirror Lake in winter. I took my son up to Timberline to go snowboarding in glorious sun. I went back down to the Mirror Lake trail and snowshoed in, expecting to get a shot of Mt Hood over the snow covered lake. I got the snow covered lake alright, but could just barely see across the lake. I ended up getting several very nice shots which were quite different than I anticipated.
