Autumn larch trees on the slopes of Dragontail Peak leading up to Aasgard Pass on the Enchantment Lakes Loop Trail, above Colchuck Lake. The larch (also called tamarack) is a conifer which loses it's needles every year. In some places, entire hillsides turn golden in early October.
